    Modern dental technology has made what was once impossible possible. Today, permanent customized ceramic inlays, onlays and crowns can be designed, fabricated and fitted during a single appointment using state of the art Cerec 3D System. There is no uncomfortable temporary to wear for weeks. There is no second appointment. This service is usually for back teeth. Oversized intermediate strength fillings replaced by strong cerec restorations that are more conservative than crowns. The first molar lost a cusp tip. While we were there the patient wanted to get the other molar white. We fabricated an all ceramic crown on the molar with the missing cusp tip and then placed a ceramic onlay on the other molar. This was all done in one appointment! If you look closely you can see the outline of the molar onlay.

Here we have an alloy restoration breaking down on the first molar (second tooth from the right.) We placed a ceramic onlay on the biting surface and a tooth colored filling on the cheek side of that molar making it all white.

The two teeth with the metal fillings were restored with bonded ceramic restorations to help hold the cusp tips together and return the teeth to a more natural appearance.

The molar on the lower portion of the photo was missing only a cusp tip and that is all we have had to replace to get this tooth back in function.
